I really like how happy this Necklace made my Son. What made me want to try this Necklace was the soothing/calming effect the succinic acid that's naturally in the Amber from being against the skin has. I also wanted to try this for those effects since my son is Autistic. I figured why not? He likes textures, and he likes beads. He liked this necklace a lot. I also felt safe supervising him wearing it since each Amber Stone Bead is individually knotted so even if he wanted to rip it apart, it doesn't. I also liked the easy turn screw clasp that is in the center of two of the beads.

Amber Stones can also be used for Teething/Drooling, just by having the Necklace/Stone against the skin for a few hours.  Just always make sure the child is supervised, and no sleeping with the necklace on.

Oh you know, just making Pancakes, and using a cake pen Dispenser.

I actually had fun with this review. I puree'd blueberries to dye the gluten free pancake mix. I poured the regular mix in one Squeeze Container, then added the blueberries to the second to make it a 2 toned design. I also liked that each squeeze container holds 3 cups of pancake mix. The rings are 3.5" round.  This was my first time ever using anything like this, and it wasn't hard at all. I liked it. My favorite was the swirl design I did that looked like a Rose.

The two tone colors I did with the Squeeze Bottles were just enough to see the difference of Colors. I also liked how easy the Silicone Pancake ring made it for me to make the perfect little individual pancake. The left over pancake mix I put the caps back on the bottles, and put in the fridge to use tomorrow morning. I liked how easy clean up was for the Silicone Rings.

I enjoyed Herokins just as much as my son.  My son has autism, and I am always trying to find interactive ways to keep his interest, and help with his social, and cognitive sensory issues. The Story Quests are interactive and go along with everyday tasks by just making those task have more adventure, and imagination.  Instead of the next story line popping up, you have to tap it, or do a fun, social interactive task together. One was to have both of us place our fingers to Open up a special task for McRed while he was fighting off General Grey.  Another interactive task was to Clap, tho my favorite one, was when I had to ask Sy to go stand behind an imaginary tree!  Also while all of this is going on, McRed (the Watch.) has a built in speaker.  I just liked how this can go along with his already schedule for ESY, and regular school year with the everyday tasks.  We can't wait til more Story Quests are added.  I noticed a speaker/music player on the dresser. Fingers crossed we get to see the Herokins/or some type of musical interactive story line.  This app & wearable super hero has a lot of playful,fun and learning potential.  

My overall impression of Herokins, The Interactive Watch, and the StoryQuests is a positive one. The app loads fast,   it's easy to sync by pushing McReds belt.  Also if you don't want to wear him as a watch, he easily can be slid off the watch.  To charge both,  I just used the Kindle Fires usb Charger attachment.  The graphics are amazing, and fun.  I even giggled at the octopus on General Greys head after McRed helped save the day!  

There is McRed, and Dr. Rose, depending on if your child prefers Red, or Pink.  I personally want a General Grey!

Just Almonds Review, Ginger Snap Almond Cookies.

Fun fact about almonds; An almond is not really a nut, it is a drupe. which is technically a fruit. Did you know that? I didn't! If you want to learn more about Almonds visit Just Almonds.

Just Almonds gave me a chance to do a review in exchange for product, I received Almonds & Just Almond Flour. I combined both, and made COOKIES! If you've been following my blogs, you will notice that I love to cook. I have ate Almond products before from Andersons, and Wholefoods, but I had never tried to make cookies myself. Making them yourself is by far less expensive. I baked some cookies for my moms group, I'm always trying to find better, healthier snack alternatives. The cookies were pretty simple, and easy to make. I loved the texture of the Almond Flour. Also it's nice to know that they are grown, and packaged here in the U.S.A. If you are a gluten free, natural family, I advice you to check Almond Flour out.

I felt as if I accomplished something by baking almond cookies. In my honest, opinion, I believe almonds are a rich source of vitamin E, calcium, phosphorous, iron and magnesium. It also contains zinc, selenium, copper and niacin. Almonds are good for your brain, heart, & skin. You can use almonds to regulate blood pressure, and cholesterol. You can help prevent certain cancers like colon, almonds help to improve the movement through the colon. Diabetics can eat almonds to help control the rise in sugar and insulin levels after meals. Unsweetened almond milk can help reduce weight by mono-saturated fat that is in almonds by satisfying appetite, and prevents over-eating. Also, because almonds are rich in fiber, and full of folic acids, they are ideal to eat during pregnancy to help with constipation. And, a boost of energy.

The Cookies turned out wonderful. The aroma of the spices from the oven made me want to mix up more batches. What else I loved about this recipe with the almond flour was, you didn't have to use your mixer. Just mixing by hand, and rolling the almond flour into balls was fairly simple after the wet ingredients were added. Using the beefree honey made it less sticky, and didn't stick to my hands much.

I thought it looked pretty, all the different colored spices over top the almond flour.

Below is the recipe if you'd like to try to make some yourself. Just Almond sells Almond Flour, Almond Meal, & Almonds by bulk as well.

How To Make The Cookies!

Preheat oven to 275 degrees

Blend all the dry ingredients together

Add the honey and butter to the dry ingredients, and blend well

Create small balls of dough, place about an inch apart

Flatten each cookie with a fork, flatten it one way with the fork, then the other way so it makes a cross over pattern

Sprinkle Cinnamon Sugar over each cookie

Add a whole almond to the middle of the cookie

Bake for 15 minutes

Lower the oven to 175, flip the cookies over, and bake for another 15 mins

I consider Post Goodness Breakfast Bowls food for fuel. There are plenty of mornings I don't feel like cooking, I know I am not the only one, but the body needs to be fueled with a balance of different grains, and proteins.

Flavors come in 4 different varieties.  Depending on if you have a sweet tooth go for the Apple Cinnamon, or Maple Brown Sugar, or just want extra protein with Bacon or Sausage. All are full of whole grain oats.

Each Breakfast bowl is a single serving, and atleast provides 26 grams of Whole Grain. Nutritionists recommend eating three or more servings of whole grain foods per day (about 16g whole grain per serving or at least 48g per day).  Eating the Oats easily filled me up in the single serving.  The texture is what I expected for Oats. Considering its as simple as removing a plastic film off the tray.  Heating the tray for 45 seconds.  Stirring, then reheating again for 15 seconds.  Time really did fly by.  Before I could pour my cup of coffee, the microwave was beeping at me.  It's that fast.

Each flavor I tried I enjoyed. Both I could taste, and see chunks of the main ingrediants through out the slow cooked steel cut oats.  The oats were chewy, with slight snap when biting into.  Which is great for oats, and people like myself, and my son whom loves textures.  My son loved the Apple Cinnamon the most.  My favorite was the Sausage & Cheddar.  It was moist, and reminded me of Sauage & Gravy but trickery! It's Oats, Sausage & Cheddar.

There are plenty of days that I don't feel as if I have any time to even take care of my own ailments, kid or no kid there just doesn't feel like there's enough time to do everything.  Sometimes I feel like I have no energy left to even eat right, or get a glass of water to take something for my headache, and stomach ache. It just needs to be fast, and easy so I can move onto the next thing.

It's not laziness when you are ran thin all day, and just have no time for yourself, when you are doing everything else.  That is why I found the convenience of having these First Aid Shot Therapy single shot liquid bottles to use.  I used two, and threw the other two in my purse for another time.  These are great for anyone on the go.

First Aid Shot Therapy Pain Relief, Berry Flavored.

My son doesn't hold on when you hold him, and lets himself drop down, he's 50 lbs, and it's taking a toll on my Right side where I have to carry him (My left side is the leg I have the ORIF hardware at.) I liked how my arm felt after drinking the shot, instantly I didn't feel the sharp burn in my shoulder that I've been having on and off all week. The taste itself,  to my surprise wasn't horrible.  I was expecting something medicated, and thick.  It wasn't that syrupy which made it more tolerable in a single shot to take.  I also experienced no after taste. Huge bonus.  These are something I would take.  I rarely take anything for pain, but the cold, my son, trick or treating, took it's toll on my body this week. My headache went completely away, and the pain in my shoulder was dull, no longer sharp, or burning.  I stretched it while it felt better too.

First Aid Shot Therapy Upset Stomach Relief, Natural Peppermint & Ginger Flavored.

Yeaaah, I am a huge fan of sweets during the Holidays,  the sweets however do not like me.  I would like to believe I have will power, but naaah I don't.  I will eat the sweets first, then skip dinner ( I know that's not healthy, but hey it's the Holidays!) HEOS by Denon is a Wireless Multi-Room Sound System.  Recently I received the HEOS5 through Best Buy to Review. I thought the set up was easy, and I am using the HEOS5 in a Larger Bedroom.  The sound is great, and I have moved the speaker outside to listen to music while the kids play while streaming from my Droid.  Downloading the App was a simple task by going to Google's Play store.

Airborne Blast of Vitamin C Review!

I am a huge fan of taking vitamins.  Especially this time of the year.  My new favorite vitamins are Airbornes Chewable Tablets.  Not only do they dissolve and remind me a lot like a cherry sweet tart.  They also are full of Vitamin C, and other crucial vitamins I believe the body needs.  Especially this time of the year.  We were -35 windchill the other day!!! Vitamins are a must right now for being cooped up inside.  I truly believe everyone should take their vitamins, and that everyday food amounts we consume does not have enough daily vitamins that we need. (this is what I believe, and why we should take vitamins ontop of our meals.)

My little one enjoyed the Airborne Kids Gummies.  I didn't have to tell him to eat them.  They taste delicious.

If chewable tablets, and vitamin gummies aren't something you like.  There are also the Airborne tablets that you can put into water, or your favorite juice, it fizzes and makes a great treat as well. There are many other ways to help, and try to do this.  Like Diet, Exercise, ontop of taking vitamins.  Everything helps.
