The Alpha Beasts Review

I've been trying to find a fun way to teach Vic his alphabets. I came across The Alpha Beasts and instantly fell in love. Just the name alone, "The Alpha Beasts," I needed to give my baby. There is a whole clan of them from A-Z, all different characters.

Each has their own unique, silly name.

A:Alphie
B:Boogeyfus
C:Calicocious

We adopted V:Vin-Vin. Vic grabbed Vin-Vin up, and started kissing him all over. Vin-Vin is a great educational tool too. It didn't take Vic long to trace the V with his fingers while I chanted "V, Vic," and pointed to him. I said, "Do you love Vin-Vin?", and he'd kiss him again.

The Alpha Beast itself was extremely soft, and can be used as a pillow. I really love this thing. He's been dragging it around all day now, even took it to bed with him. I want them all! Even the Alpha Beasts Box ABC book set. At least this will be a fun way to teach toddlers the alphabets, and to spell their own names. I just need I, and C now, and Vic is done. Maybe, S-I-L-A-S for his middle name. That would be super-cute across his bed.

I think they are spunky, cute, and I want to live in their tree house too. I knew Vic would love it. He's a stuffed animal freak, and this just fit him perfect.

Kisses for Vin-Vin.

..My Blog DisclosureI received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion for a review. I was not paid for this post.  No one told me what to say. Vic LOVED his new friend.  That's all that really matters.

Dezign With A Z, Fairy Tree Wall Decals Review

I wanted something cute for the area Sy likes to lounge at. The walls are pretty plain in my apartment still, and soon as you walk into the apartment you see an inner island where the sink is, that separates the kitchen from the living room.

I ordered the Fairy Tree Wall Decals 22”x25” from Dezign With A Z to fill that void on the wall. I was impressed at how fast the decal came. There were also cute little butterflies, and polka dots rolled up along with my tree, so it was like a bonus unraveling it, and finding little treasures along the way.

Here's a demo on how easy it is to Install the Decals:

It's pretty simple to install the Decal; My wall wasn't glossy so I didn't have to clean it off. I just marked where on the wall I wanted it, and I picked the corner of the inner island. I then laid the decal on a flat surface, and used the special tool that came with it to flatten it so the transfer sticks to the sticky side. I lined the tree on the wall with the marks. Since mines on a corner, I peeled the top right first and gently flattened it down to stick to the wall (Sticky side goes on the wall.) I did the same with the bottom right corner.

Then I used the tool and flattened the detail of the decal down more as I went around the wall. With the tree there are alot of little swirls, and leaves. The detail is just wild. Once I thought it was flat enough I peeled the plastic off, leaving just the decal behind on the wall. For how small some of the lines were, it really wasn't difficult. Even applying it to the corner was pretty easy. Just had to make sure I smoothed it out enough, and every bit stuck where it was supposed to.

This was a simple project for even people that aren't crafty, and want something unique. The decal is for a fairy tree, but I don't think it means for a certain gender. I love things that are magic, and mythical. I grew up reading about fairies, goblins, and trolls. Of course, I would want my son to have an imagination too.

You can find Dezign With A Z on,
Facebook, Twitter, & Pinterest.

I was giving the product in exchange to do a review. Review as in, I installed it myself, gave my feed back, and honestly, pictures do not lie when it comes to decals, and placement. Receiving product did not sway my opinion. All links on review, do go to the sponsor regarding more detail.

DIY Gummies Kit Review & Giveaway

Glee Gum, Make Your Own Gummies Kit,

Most people think of gelatin when they think of ingredients used for Gummies. Gelatin is collagen(bones.) It's pretty disgusting knowing those cute teddy bear shaped characters are made out of bones.

The kit I used has no gelatin in it, at all. The process uses Seaweed. You actually get dried seaweed to add to water, and powdered seaweed. The natural seaweed gel used are called, carrageenan, and agar. If you say Eww, I would never use seaweed, honestly you should take a look into the ingredients in everyday things you use, like toothpaste, deodorant, pudding, salad dressing, cottage cheese, or even sometimes sandwich meat. Look for carrageenan, and agar.

There is no "sea" taste to seaweed in the Gummies Kit. I was very pleased with the outcome, and We had so much fun using it. The kit itself comes with, Sea Weed, Sea Weed Powder, Corn Starch, Sugar, and Sour Mix.

First Step is to Soak the Sea Weed in water(Don't use the powder just yet, That is for later, It should look like this.)

While the seaweed was soaking, I used a glass pan to dump the starch in, then a spoon to spread the corn starch evenly about, I didn't try to make it perfect, but just flat enough. The corn starch is used because Glee wants you to have fun, and be creative making your own molds. I used an old teether, and a bottle cap. You can use whatever you want for your impressions.

Now you take the powdered Seaweed, add 1/2 cup of water, mix, don't worry about the lumps, Take the seaweed from out the bowl and place it into the mixture you just made, I microwaved mine for 2 mins til if foamed. After that you take the seaweed pieces out (there will be a gel formed around it, that is great!! make sure the gel stays in the bowl, and you take just the seaweed out.) I then mixed the Colored Sugar to the bowl, and microwaved for another minute.

After that I poured the liquid mixture over top the impressions I made in the Corn Starch. It looks weird at first, but I knew there were still more steps to do. I had a little bit of the mixture left so I poured it into a small plate (I had plans for that later.) I placed both into the fridge to chill for 10 mins.

After 10 minutes I took the gummies out, and used a damp napkin to get the powder off the shapes I made. I placed each shape onto the plate. I then used scissors to cut the excess off the shapes. Remember that plate of gummies? I peeled the whole thing off, and used it to cut Vic's name out of. The excess of both shapes, I used and cut into squares, placed those into a plastic baggy filled with the sour mix, and shook.

I didn't want the bigger gummies to get messed up, so I hand sprinkled the sour mix onto them while on the plate, flipped them, and did the other side too.

I loved how they turned out. They are delicious, and when my husband came home I had to slap his fingers from opening the baggy of the square gummies I had put aside for the babies snacks.

This was a fun, easy, great tasting treat. They taste so good! You can't even tell they are made from seaweed. I loved the detail from the impressions I used.

I really want to try all of Glees Do It Yourself Kits. This was a fantastic learning experience. I feel as a mother, I have learned something to pass down to my son.

I want fun things like this to be our thing to share. I'm pleased to share this with you, too. One lucky follower, thanks to Glee Gum for sponsoring this will win a DIY Glee Gum Make Your Own Gummies Kit too.

Bumble Bar Organic Sesame Bars

Gluten Free Bumble Bars,

I'm a bit eccentric when it comes to my taste of health bars. I like a vast variety of things, tastes, and textures. The more different they are than the main stream full of sugar brands, the better.

Bumble Bars are Gluten Free, Organic, Natural Sesame Bars. I, personally LOVE sesame seeds. The bars I tried were Junior Size.

Organic Sesame Bar, Original Peanut
Organic Sesame Bar, Chocolate Crisp
Organic Sesame Bar, Amazing Almond

My son is 18 months, and I tell him Bumble Bars are his "candy bars." He also believes Graham crackers are "cookies." Shhh, Don't you dare tell him other wise. Both of our favorite, of course, were the Chocolate Crisp. I seriously did not want to share with him. It's like a sesame nut chocolate rice crispy treat. Thats my best way to explain the taste, and texture. Original Peanut, and Amazing Almond were both wonderful too, but Chocolate Crisp, hands down, the best I've tried. The new flavors I want to try are, Chocolate Mint, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. I really need to try the variety packs. There are even Sesame Seed Fruit Bars.

The bars are beautifully made, the ones I tried were almost all sesame with either peanuts, or almonds. The processing agents are Sunflowers & Safflower Oil. I post about Safflower oil all the time, I mostly use Safflower Oil in everything I make too. Other ingrediants you may know off hand that's in the product are Flax Seed Oil, and Vitamin E.

Check Out The Bumble Bar Mad Scientist; Part 1. It'll give you more details on Bumble Bar, and What other bars really put inside their bars.

I'm not saying this will help your health, but with a great diet, exercise, and organic healthy alternatives like this, It really is a start.

You can find Bumble Bars on Facebook, and Twitter.

Disclaimer: I received product in exchange to do a review. They didn't ask me, or tell me what to say. I'm 100% honest with my reviews, and I always test the product enough to give it a fair opinion.

PB Crave Review & Giveaway.

PB Crave Review & Giveaway

Usually Peanut Butter is just.. Peanut Butter, sometimes there is Mocha, or Hazel nut, but there really isn't a lot of other choices. I came across PB Crave online, and just had to try it. I received Coco Bananas, Razzle Dazzle, Choco Choco, and Cookie Nookie to sample, and review. I ate a little bit on graham crackers as a late night snack. I also got an even bigger sweet tooth, and wanted Cherries ontop.

Hint, hint, maybe PB Crave will come up with a Dark Chocolate Cherry PB Crave. That would be a great addition!

Coco Bananas(Bananas, Cocoa, & Wild Honey) is delicious, and was my 2nd favorite. You can taste the banana swirls, along with the chocolate. Even after each bite theres still that lingering banana taste still in your mouth. It's a great combination.

Razzle Dazzle(Red Raspberry & Wild Honey) is good too, its my 4th choice but my husband liked it, and he's already ate the whole jar already. I thought it was good, but not in my top favorites. I don't like raspberry that much, so having that raspberry after taste isn't something I like. To each their own. If you love raspberry, this is something you should try.

Choco Choco (Wild Honey, Semi Sweet & Dark Chocolate is delicious, and my 3rd favorite. Its chocolate swirls, with chocolate, and peanut butter. It is something that would be great when you get that chocolate sweet tooth, but think of it like this, You get all that extra protein too! Protein is good.

Cookie Nookie (Chocolate Chips, Cookie Dough & Wild Honey) would be my all time favorite for PB Crave. There were cookie swirls, chocolate chips, just overall, sweet, delicious, and I can eat this by the spoonful easily.

You can find Recipes, and nutritional value, also where to order it at PBCrave.com. If you are on the east coast, The Fresh Market has PB Crave in store. It really is "Peanut Butter With A Twist," when you look at the jar itself and you see all the swirls of honey, chocolate, and the fruits inside. You can also find PB Crave on Facebook , Twitter & Pininterest.

I get to do a giveaway for a Choco Choco Variety Pack to 1 Lucky Follower, Thanks To PB Crave. Whoever wins, You are so lucky! Good luck.

Mambo Combo Play Tent; Something Cute for Ya'll

I bought Mambo Combo play tent for the baby to crawl in from Meijers, and he loves them.

I didn't realize how big the tent, and tunnels were until I put them together, they were simple to put together, just a few plastic pieces that snapped together w/strings int he middle.

The tunnels themselves can be put into little bags to store, then unvelcro and they spring back into full tunnel size.

Overall experience for the Mambo Combo playset: Complete fun for the whole family. He loves the tunnel, and we love getting on the floor to play with him.

Storage: When not in use the combo set comes with its own bags to put away, takes up no room once put back in the bags, and don't have to worry about lack of space anywhere.

Price: I paid for this out of pocket myself, it was on clearance for $19.99

bzzagent greenvics for Krogers Truly Awesome Cookies.

BzzAgent greenvics reporting ;) , Recently I received two boxes of cookies through a bzzcampaign, and some coupons for friends. I loved these cookies. I actually had just bought some name brand cookies that were chocolate w/chocolate chips with a thin layer of fudge in the middle, and I liked the Krogers truly Awesome chocolate chip cookies better.

The box states that chocolate chip cookies are the #1 ingrediant, and I agree! They had quite a bit of chips through out, and there were on the thick side. I did dip mine in milk later after the baby and I enjoyed the first couple. They were soft enough, and melted in your mouth so that they were extremely easy to consume.

I did notice it says they are 120 calories a serving, and one cookie is a serving, but the cookie is pretty thick/full of chips so I am not dissapointed by serving size. I really don't care about the calorie intake when it comes to me splurging on a cookie.

I didn't taste the "real butter", not sure if its because it just tasted like chocolate chip cookies to me, but I really don't think that, and the serving size needs to be printed on front of the box, If people are curious they will read the back. Also, it might make people not want the cookies if they are scared off by the number before even trying them.

Did I mention I love cookies?

please don't tell me how many calories each cookies iz til after I eat a few and turn over to the back. ;(
