Cool Gear Can Review

My first impression when I saw this can online was, "Oh no not another wanna be soda can." But after receiving the can, and the overall quaility of the insulated reuseable container beyond impressed me.

The Cool Gear Can is easy to open by just sliding the slide2open piece upwards, but not TOO easy, it does not leak.  I also thought that the designs are fun, and playful.  I also don't have to worry about my 2 year old cutting himself, the Cool Gear Cans top, and lid are made out of  BPA Free Plastic.

I use reuseable IceCubes in mine,  they are just icecubes you refreeze, no water needed, so that my Cool Gear Can stays colder for even longer than the 6 estimated hours. Cool Gear has reuseable Freezer Sticks, that do the same thing! Those are pretty cool, no need to worry about having water for your sticks, just refreeze the reuseable ones.

This is a great product, and personally for myself, it tricks me into thinking I am drinking a soda, but I am not.  To me, it's helping to break a habit.

You can find the Cool Gear Can Online, at CoolGearInc.com, Walmart, CVS, and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Also, don't forget to check Cool Gear Inc out over on Facebook, they are always doing some kind of promotion, or giveaway!

{ Giveaway } ReUseIt.com Libre 9oz Loose Leaf Tea Glass Bottle Review.

Recently I had the opportunity to review ReUseIt.com Libre Loose Leaf Tea Glass Bottle.  The bottle itself is thermal, and double glassed.  I'm a huge fan of green tea.  I like to make my own green tea, then add a little bit of mango to add a little sweetness to it. This is the 9oz bottle.  It's pretty beautiful for being a reusable glass water bottle.

The layered holographic design on the top makes this reusable loose leaf tea bottle very unique.  I adore gifts like these.

I also liked the fact I experienced no weird metallic after taste from the filter, it's also BPA Free.  To learn more about going Green with reusable products, you should check out ReUseIt.com, they have something for everything.  During the summer I reviewed the Reusable Insulated Bag, that looked more like a tote/purse, and received lots of compliments.

You can also find ReUseIt on Facebook & Twitter.

Reusies.com Re-usable Sandwich & Snack Bags { Review }

Reusies.com has some of the coolest reuseable sandwich, and snack bags.   I really like the fact that the outside is 100% cotton, and the inside is leak resistant nylon.  The set I received for my toddlers snacks are my favorite colors! Green & Black.  There are all types of designs.  I loved how many ideas for Holiday Gifts Reusies can be used for.

I put brownies, and you know brownies crumble easily, and make a mess!! I wanted to see how easy it would be to store, and let my little man use the bag for his snacks.

LOL, He's sniffing inside the bag.  If he didn't like it he would've pushed the bag away, or thrown it.  So these Reusies.com Bags were a success.  I really adore products that are more than just a one time use thing.  These would be fantastic for the holidays.  Plus,  a great way to save money, and budget on snacks instead of buying individual bags of snacks, plastic baggies, or buying a snack while out in public you can just bring your own!

Here's to a greener life.  Thanks Reusies.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

CoolGearInc.com Skull Chill & SnackTime Review

by, Life According To GreenVics.

CoolGearInc.com  18oz Skull Chiller

Like my new Skull Chiller Cup from CoolGearInc.com?! For Halloween!! And, every day after! Momma has a new cup for her drinks!  I was sent these products from CoolGearInc to test & review.

SnackTime Drink/Snack Container 2in1

What is great about CoolGearInc. is theres something for everyone in the family. We ventured forth to test the  Skull Chiller, and my toddler the SnackTime at the park!

Having  these containers made SnackTime convenient, and budget friendly on the wallet. Instead of having to stop, and pick up snacks all I had to do was fill the bottom of the Snack Time Container with what Sy likes to eat, and the top with his favorite drink.  It also fits perfectly in  the cars cup holder.

Fits  In The Cars Cup Holders!

There is a straw in the SippyCup! Which is terrific for me right now because that's my toddlers favorite kind of cup. They also are just $5.99. You get the Cup, and Snack container that twists onto each other.

Mommies Chill, and Babies SnackTime

SnackTime($5.99):
  • BPA Free
  • Twist-off Snack Containers
  • Top Drink Container Insulated W/Non-toxic Gel To Keep Drinks Cold
  • Bottom Container Keeps Snacks Fresh
  • Flip-top Sipper For No Spills

Skull Chill($7.99):

  • BPA Free
  • Double Wall Construction
  • Non-Toxic Insulated Gel To Keep Drinks Cold
  • Top Shelf Dishwasher Safe

Here's an Easy Recipe I make for Iced Coffee.  I don't like my Iced Coffee to be overpowered by things, so I keep it simple.

Almond Milk
Cold Coffee
Sugar/Splenda/Whatever Sweetner You Use
Stir
Fill The Cup With Ice

If you use Creamer, you can use that instead of Milk. I use more Coffee than anything. Love me some Dark Roast. This Momma needs her Caffeine.

We had a blast at the park.

Conclusion: These Cups were Fun, Playful, and Spill proof. I also believe for the convenience of the products offered, they are well worth the price. I personally enjoy things that can be used for many things. Really, I'm for anything that makes life easier. These products did just that.

ReUseIt, BlueAvocado Big Chill Large Insulated Reusable Shopping Tote Bag

ReUse It, Huh? ReUse What?

ReUse your bags! That's what. ReUseIt.com's reusable grocery bags are some of the best quality bags I've seen. I received the bag in exchange to do a review. It did not change my opinion on the bag. The one I have is the BlueAvocado Big Chill Large Insulated Reusable Shopping Tote Bag. The wild flower is super cute on it, and the bag itself doesn't even look like a reuseable bag. It looks like an expensive purse, or tote bag. It's insulated, zips up, and has two padded hand straps that are big enough to hang from your shoulder. I liked the option of the shoulder straps because I can have my hands free as I carry groceries in. Really my hands are never free. The baby is in them. I can dream of hands free someday.

The bag itself fits ALOT, I tested it out by going to a Membership Only Starts With S, Club. I bought icecream, strawberries, blueberries, box of veggie burgers, provolone cheese, crab salad, and apples. That store sells nothing but bulk packs of everything. I didn't have to use one of their empty package boxes at check out, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g I purchased fit into my ReUseIt bag.

Even the cashier complimented me thats one of the nicest bags he's seen. It made me smile. I used to work retail, and I know how sometimes people mean well with their reusabe bags, but some are just awkward, and nothing ever fits right in them. Some don't even have flat bottoms, and all you could fit in them were maybe 2-3 items. Then leaves the customers still wanting plastic bags.

There are stores that reward you for using your own bags, Target gives you .05 cent off for bringing in your own bag. While, CVS has a bag tag program that you purchase a little leaf keychain, and everytime you bring in your bag and make a purchse the cashier will scan the tag. After so many purchases you get a $1.00 off. If you use coupons, and already love to shop at those two stores, after awhile a great ReUsable bag will pay for itself back, and then some. If you are going to splurge on the bag, make it an insulated tote too. I had to stop and pick the baby up some diapers, and a new bottle at a different store, and then drove 20 mins back home. Everything was still frozen. Even the fruit was cold from being in the same bag as the frozen items. It's been 100+ degrees here lately in Ohio. I miss my cool 60's.. Anyways. My ReUseIt, is one of the best bags, ever.
