Spoiler Alert! Tonights #BiggestLoser Episode @MyTrainerBob recipes to @SwitchToTurkey

Jennie-O Extra Lean Turkey Breast is my Favorite.
We are a huge fan of Jennie-O turkey! From the Turkey Hams (Great value for the price, makes a few meals.) to the Turkey Bacon that even my picky 3 year old Enjoys!! I'm not surprised to see them on the biggest loser at all. Bob is my favorite trainer! Tune in tonight to see what Bob has to say at 8/7c on NBC. That is 8-9PM Eastern for me.

Spoiler Alert! On tonights Biggest Loser episode, trainer Bob Harper surprises contestants with a healthy cooking lesson rather than a workout.

Worried about "all over the place" eating habits, Harper wants to instill consistently healthy eating habits - starting with breakfast. Telling contestants that healthy lean protein is a key ingredient in a good diet, Harper presents Jennie-O ground turkey and turkey bacon as the meat of choice for two egg frittata recipes.

After contestants select one frittata to eat, Harper lets them know that these breakfast treats are healthy enough for them to enjoy two!

Today¹s busy schedules make skipping breakfast entirely or grabbing higher-calorie fast foods more and more common.

A key component of a better breakfast is protein. The Institute of Health¹s Dietary Reference Intake recommendations allow anywhere from 10 percent to 35 percent of total calories for normal healthy adults.

Jennie-O has a long list of Biggest Loser-approved products, all great sources for healthy protein, including the ground turkey and turkey bacon featured in the January 13 episode. For a list of all Biggest Loser approved products, visit

In addition to the breakfast recipes featured on tonight¹s ³Biggest Loser², Jennie-O¹s offers many more recipes for great-tasting, healthy breakfasts to start your day off right.

Make the Switch To JENNIE-O Oven Ready Whole Turkey , The Better Alternative for Socialites, minus the time to prepare, but still the same great moist, plump, white meat.

I am a huge fan of Jennie-O Turkey.  In my experience Jennie-O has always been delicious. Even my picky 2 year old likes it.  We are just a family of 3, so we don't need a huge Thanksgiving meal, but just one that we can be more thankful for, and spend time together, instead of sweating it out in the kitchen.

Piece of my JENNIE-O Turkey Breast.  Just take it.. take another little piece of my turkey breast..

Have you seen Jennie-O's Whole Turkey Oven Ready Birds? You literally just take the frozen bird out of the bag, and bake it. No digging your hands into holes, you fear like prepping other birds. If you don't feel like baking, There are even Jennie-O fully cooked Turkey Breasts.  I found these in the Bakery Section next to the Rotisserie Chicken to go. While the Whole Turkey were in the Frozen Turkey Section. Both are more than enough for a family of my size.

Jennie-O Says,

Thanksgiving dinner preparation can be overwhelming –even for a seasoned cook. If you’re new to the world of Thanksgiving entertaining, turkey preparation can be the most daunting task of all. From thawing and cleaning to seasoning, preparing the turkey can be a time-consuming and messy process. With a house full of invited guests and six or more other dishes to prepare, who has that kind of time?

A recent study, conducted by Harris Interactive, showed nearly 1/3 of Thanksgiving hosts spend 2 hours or fewer socializing with guests on the big day (is that even enough time to eat?). Furthermore, 27% devote 8 hours or more just to cooking.

This infographic provides a snapshot of America’s time-stressed holiday preparation.

For busy women (and men!) assigned the task of preparing the Thanksgiving turkey, especially those who are newly married, first-time hosts, juggling work and home, hosting extended family, or have small children tugging at their apron strings, there is a delicious and easy alternative. JENNIE-O® OVEN READY™ Whole Turkey is a foolproof shortcut that takes turkey from Freezer to Oven to Perfect!™

Step 1: Remove the outer wrapping.
Step 2: Place the frozen turkey in a pan in the oven.
Step 3: Roast, cut and serve.

This juicy, tender turkey never disappoints because Jennie-O has done everything for you. JENNIE-O® OVEN READY™ is the only turkey that goes directly from freezer to oven with no thawing, easy clean up and no worries. Jennie-O helps hosts to serve a flavorful Thanksgiving turkey without the stress or mess, giving time-strapped entertainers more time to give thanks this season.

JENNIE-O Turkey Pastrami with Eggplant! So Delicious! Easy Recipes!

Switch To Turkey!

When you think of JENNIE-O Turkey what comes to come?? Do you think about Turkey Burgers? Turkey Ham? Pastrami? That is where my mind goes.  I absolutely adore the JENNIE-O Turkey Store Website.

I have a hard time digesting red meat, so I went to turkey instead.  My favorite is the JENNIE-O Turkey Pastrami.  It comes in whole chunks, and you can cut into slices yourself.

This was an extremely easy meal.  I just cut the turkey pastrami up,  lightly fried (It's already seasoned, and covered in pepper.)

I also fried up some Eggplant in almond flour (2 tsp pepper, 2 tsp of garlic powder, 2 tsp of season all.) I then dip the sliced eggplant into egg whites (I like to add dried onions to the eggwhites.)

While frying,  the oil should be HOT,  I don't turn the oil down to medium-high til the eggplants already breaded and ready to go in.

Together, this meal, along with some wine was perfect.  The Pastrami was moist, and seasoned perfectly.  I just like to blacken a little in a cast iron frying pan, and make the outside crispy.

You can find different recipes by going to JENNI-O's, it's as easy as typing in what you are craving, and it will find an easy recipe for you to make.  Check the JENNIE-O Turkey Shop Easy Recipes out by clicking here.
