My first thought when I saw the Misfit Shine Elegant in it's packaging was it looked so high tech that I thought of Aliens. Yep! My mind went there. Maybe because the packaging looked like a saucer? That may have been it. Then after opening the Shine, It still gave off that smooth, elegant vibe to me that it was something different, and special. Misfit Shine Elegant is sold exclusively at BestBuy.

I really dig that it does not look like My Hubbies tracker, and still gives me that girly accessory feel while I work out, and it tracks me.  The fact the Misfit does not have to be worn only around the wrist.  The Misfit Shine can be worn on the Shirt, Shoes, Belt, as a Necklace to any occasion. I wear mine around my wrist, and it looks like a nice watch, I forget it's even on. It also comes with a clasp that can be used to wear anywhere else.

Quick & Easy Candied Sweet Potatoes

Preparation and Cooking Time:
30 minutes


Ingredients 1 can (29 oz) Princella or Sugary Sam Cut Sweet Potatoes
5 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 cup miniature marshmallows (optional)

Directions

Pour sweet potatoes with liquid into 2-qt. saucepan; cook until heated through. Drain liquid. While sweet potatoes are heating, combine butter or margarine and brown sugar in 1-qt. saucepan and cook until hot but not boiling. Add nuts to sauce, if desired, and pour over hot sweet potatoes. Stir just to coat. Serve immediately. One cup miniature marshmallows may be added on top of dish just before serving and placed under the oven broiler until golden brown.

Italian Green Bean Casserole

Preparation and Cooking Time:
45 minutes

Ingredients
1 10.75 oz. can Condensed cream of mushroom soup (low fat or fat free can be used)
1/2 cup Milk
1 1/2 tsp. Soy sauce
Pepper to taste
2 14.5 oz. cans Allens Cut Italian Green Beans
1 1/3 cups French fried onions, divided

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, mix together soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, Italian green beans and 2/3 cup onions. Bake for 25 minutes, or until heated through. Stir, then sprinkle remaining onions on top. Bake 5 to 10 minutes, until onions are golden.

My family are huge Build-A-Bear™ Workshop fans.  I don't discriminate against age, gender, or any type of views when it comes to what I allow my son to play with.  I love polar bears, and my son has my love of them too.  Sure he likes Robots, Pirates, and Penguins too. Today, tho, he liked Build-A-Bears™ Winter White Polar Bear ($20) in her polar ice dress ($12.50), white sparkle faux-fur bows ($3) and silver gem flats ($7.50 per pair).  

The details, and sparkle in her dress made her beautiful, like a winter wonderland creature.  I was blown away at the detail in her dress, to the detail in the matching bows that clipped to her ears.

Ok I have GOT to brag about this one folks! We where selected by Build-a-bear Workshop to review the 15 in. Clarice® Holiday Edition stuffer reindeer. Ours came fully accessorised in a adorable polka-dot dress and sparkely shoes! As a lot of our readers know my granddaughter Bellamie and her mom Morgan our almost 21 year old, live at home while Morgan finishes college. This means I get to play with my granddaughter on a regular and daily basis! Now Bellamie has a favorite color...we call it "Sparkle"! Yes if it twinkles or is sparkley our 9 month old Miss Bellamie is in LOVE. Also common knowledge is her love of her plushies.....Now you can all imagine the delight she had once she saw a plushy, in sparkely red shoes and with a light up heart! She crawled like a mad gal on a mission straight to her new love, Clarice the Limited Edition Build-a-bear Workshop reindeer from the classic movie Rudolf The Rednosed Reindeer! My granddaughter hugs this toy, kisses her face and squeals with delight! For me the reaction was priceless! You honestly cannot put a price on this kind of happieness! She is in genereal a happy baby, but there are not to many items that she is drawn to on a day to day basis and this folks has knocked most of her other plushies out of the ballpark! We have had this doll for severeal weeks and she is still in love! (For a 9 month old this is amazing!!...Any of you with a lil one in their himes can relate!!)
