Let me first confess how I did not want to share any of these with my family after tasting Barts Cookies Gluten-Free White Chocolate Chip with Macadamia Nuts.  The cookies are Thiiiiiiick, and just these perfect round balls of moist, chocolate chip spheres. What I found refreshing about Barts Cookies is what you see is what you get.  The photos aren't photo shopped, the cookies really do taste/speak for themselves.

My hubby has been Gluten-Free for over a year.  It's a nice treat to find treats like Barts Gluten-Free Cookies that he can still have a cookie with the family.  I tricked my hubby.. I said "it's Gluten Free," he ate it.. and loved it.  I then said, "SUCKAAAH I lied, its not," and he freaked out thinking I had played a mean trick on him.  After I confessed, yes, it's GF, he didn't believe me and I had to show him the bag. Haha. Evil, vile, rotten wife. I just wanted to see if his opinion changed at all on the flavor.  He thought it was TOO good to be GF.

My son and I received Barts Cookies Milk Chocolate Chip.  They were moist, and jam packed with Chocolate chips.  I am a total snob when it comes to my sweets.  I like bakery quality treats.  I usually get Cannoli's, personal mini boston creme pies.  Hey.. If I'm going to splurge on a sugary treat, it better be worth the sugar, and the cinnamon pills I'll be taking later!  These cookies pass my sweet test. 

My 2 year old also enjoyed a couple of the cookies.  They are the perfect individual treat size too.  He called it a Cookie Ball.  These would be perfect for his Birthday in December!  

I also wanted to show you all how perfectly the bottom of the cookies are a light brown.  I can't stand my cookies being overly baked, and just hard as a rock with not moistness left, and these were right on in texture.

The best way I can think of to describe Barts Cookies are to, think of a cookie with 5 layers of cookies stacked ontop, but while still perfectly baked.

Donated my hair!

Something that is dear to me, is keeping my hair healthy enough to donate to locks of love.  Everyone needs to maintain, and get their hair cut right? The way I see it.  My hair is not my own.  It has not been my own since I had to get an ORIF, and cadavers in my leg to be able to walk.  I can't donate my bones anytime soon, but I can grow my hair out to donate to someone that does need it. I have been donating my hair for the past decade almost.  Every 2-3 years I get over 11 inches cut off.  I believe in Karma, and paying it forward.  Sometimes it takes something like this to humble a person, and what happened to me did humble me.  I wouldn't be the person I am today, or where I am at in life if it didn't happen.

When it gets to that redonk length that I sit on it, it takes individual sections to brush.. and forever to dry ( I don't blow dry.) It's time to donate. 

Doesn't Falcon look adorable with my hair on his head?? This was the night before I donated it.  I do miss it, but I know it'll grow fast, and I can donate it again.

It's still to my shoulders, so it's not too short. Everyone should donate, least a few times in their life time. I think its just excuses when people say "I don't have time.", "The hair isn't donated.", "I want to cut it myself, and mail it in." But they never do.  If you can make all those excuses, why can't you just get it cut, and donate.  There are also plenty of ways to get shampoo cheap, and free too.  I use Silicone, and Sulfate free shampoos.  

Did you know most Salons will cut your hair free if you tell them you want to donate it.  Just call around, and ask.

Love, love, love, LOVEEEEE these shoes from Lugz.  Lugz has a new line called Laurel.  What made me want to try these beauties on were the soft, faux fur inner lining.

I had a hard time choosing between the Turquoise, or the Amethyst.  Both are beautiful, vivid colors. I refuse to let the Gray skies of Ohios Fall/Winter bum me out, and bring a little color pop here, and there. I've been stopped by strangers in the store that ask me where I got my moccasins from.  It's that bright turquoise that make them unique, and why I really do love them so much.  I also have native american in me.  My great grandma was Choctaw Indian.  

Lugz Laurel also has a rubber traction outsole, so bring it winter! I walked around outside while it was a bit wet, with wet leaves on the ground, and the shoes suede survived. So did myself (meaning I did not fall, and break my tail bone.)
