July is national Park and Recreation Month and your local parks are encouraging everyone to come out this month and experience all the wonderful aspects of parks and recreation. Nationwide, recreation departments have organized events and activities to help families spend quality time together, enjoy nature and get active. This provides a great opportunity to not only make the most of the beautiful weather, but also to take a stand against the obesity epidemic and technology trends that consistently keep more kids indoors and living less active lifestyles.
As part of Park and Recreation Month, the National Recreation and Park Association is encouraging everyone to show the love for local parks and recreation and wants everyone to answer the question, "I Love my Parks and Recreation Because..." They have a fill in the blank social media poster that can be filled in and shared, and a fun month-long weekly photo contest that encourages everyone to show and share the LOVE for local parks!The NRPA website includes information on all of the above initiatives, free downloadable resources as well as a calendar of events scheduled nationwide.
With kids out of school, the vacation celebration includes bouncing off the walls and fighting over the TV, tablet and computer screen. Think about your summer days as a kid - spending time outside hunting for salamanders, playing kickball with neighborhood friends, exploring the trails and woods, fun summer camp days at your local rec center, and swimming until your fingers shriveled. Many of us have so many happy memories from summertime and want our children to have those same experiences too.
While we can always tell them of the fun we had as kids, it is so much better to show them. And you know what, you don't have to go far to have these enriching experiences that make lasting memories - you just have to head to your local parks and recreation. There are great places right in your community to go have some family fun all summer long!

Download and print out the official Park and Recreation Month poster and fill in the blank with the reasons you love your local park and recreation in your community! Then take a picture or even video yourself, family, and friends with this poster so you can show the LOVE.
Post the photos and videos to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Websites, and blogs. Tag NRPA and/or email the link to July@nrpa.org. Use the hashtag #ParkRecLuv!

Bottled Tea that is still Tea!! Honest Tea.
Love, love, love these teas from Honest Tea. With flavors like, Honey Green Tea, Half & Half Sweet Tea, not too Sweet Tea, Peach White Tea, and even Honest ade, Pomegranate Blue, and Orange Mango you seriously have a flavor for every mood you're in.
I'm one of those people that can't drink the same things, over and over again. I like to be able to have an option, on what I'm feeling for the day. I also have those lazy days that I don't feel like brewing my own tea either.
Maybe I'm in the mood for Rasberry Fields Tea, Peach Oo-La Long Tea, Just Black Tea, Moroccan Mint Green Tea, or just Green Tea. Why should I feel guilty about not making my own tea when Honest Tea has Organic, USDA Grade Teas that you can actually taste the tea, and not the overly sweet, and fake flavors in some of the other Bottled Teas out there. Honest Tea also uses PET plastic bottles. There are NO GMO's in Honest Tea either. I will never understand why things like that have to be added to our drinks. I went straight for the Moroccan Mint Green Tea. It wasn't sweet, which I like, and I could taste the tea with just a hint of mint. I can't stand flavors that overpower each other, and this is just blended perfectly. Honest Teas are all pretty low calorie, the Moroccan Mint Green Tea is only 34 calories for the whole bottle. That's not even all of their flavors, there are SO MANY different flavors, even zero calorie teas, and Honest Kids pouches. Honestly, there is nothing to NOT love about these flavors of tea. I find it admirable, and believe more companies should take que from Honest Tea for investing in Fair Trade and securing organic ingredients to promote organic agriculture. When did Tea stop being tea?? Not the case with Honest Tea.

New #Purex Fabric Softener Sheets! Review & #Giveaway!
To get the full effect of Mountain Breeze Dryer Sheets, I used the Mountain Breeze Detergent first (You don't have to, but I already love the Mountain Breeze smell, it's my favorite Purex, next to the Purex with Oxi.) Soon as I removed a sheet from the box, I wanted to see how well it unfolded. Unfolded it tripled in size.
Once the clothes were done in the wash, I put them, and just one dryer sheet into the dryer. While the clothes were drying I could smell the Mountain Breeze through out the house. I absolutely love the smell of clean laundry being done. My laundry room is in its own double closet with double doors between the living room, and kitchen. I think I really enjoy it because the house smells Clean, and hubby comes home thinking I did a lot that day. Shhhh.
While folding the clothes, I liked the fact there was no static cling, and the clothes were soft, and still could smell the fresh scent.
Overall verdict: Great fabric softener sheet, and I will continue to use them!
