I knew what Turmeric was (Mainly I used it for cooking.) I just didn't know that it came in a capsule form. The more I read up about Turmeric containing 93% Curcuminoids, plant-based antioxidants. Antioxidants help fight cell-damaging free radicals in the body.* Free radicals contribute to oxidative stress, which in turn may lead to the premature aging of cells. Turmeric is an herb with a long history of use in India. I really wanted to add it to my supplement intake. I already take a lot of supplements because I am one of those people that believe my Body needs more vitamins than what the Food I eat (servings) has, so when I saw the directions on the Bottle that I can make my own Turmeric Tea by opening the Capsules, I tried it. I thought it dissolved easily. and tasted good. I enjoy my Turmeric Tea early mornings, when the Kid's are sleeping in on the Weekends. I check my emails, do a little work, and Sip my Tea. I like monk fruit, and Almond Milk in my tea. I really think there is no wrong way to drink tea. I am actually enjoying the Taste of the Turmeric in the Tea. I am all for Vitamins that may help me reduce oxidative stress.* When I don't have time to make my tea (I use an electric kettle, and hand held mixer.) I just take the Nature's Bounty Veggy Based Capsule.
