Being that there are a lot of members in my family, and we all love to eat. The holidays can be a tad bit hectic preparing meals.  We bake a lot of sweets too. The craziness usually starts in October  and Lasts til New Years. We are huge Apple, and Pumpkin Anything  Lovers. For me, it's my leg. I refuse to let my leg bum me out. I still go hiking, canoeing and camping even with an Open Reduction Internal Fixator in my leg with cadavers. I know working that muscle, and setting goals for myself puts me in that I Can Do Anything I Put My Mind To Mentality. That to me is a great mind set to have. Healthier eating habits are also a must. I think you have to have both to strive, and always give things a chance. Remind yourself, you are doing your best, and your best is to keep going.  I remind myself all the time, it's one step at a time, and all those steps add up.

When I first read  Erik Weihenmayer motivational story about the boundaries he breaks to show others you go after the things you want to accomplish in life. No matter what. I could relate to him, on that aspect you do it, you do whatever you want to do, and achieve it no matter what.
