WHOLLY Guacamole Review & Giveaway!

WHOLLY GAUCAMOLE! Let's say it again, WHOLLY GUACAMOLE!, the new line by Wholly Guac has me so excited! I was sent a cooler full of wonderful samples of the New Wholly All Natural Salsa, along with Wholly Americas #1 Guacamole, and Wholly Chunky Avocado.

And, for you most awesome of people, YOU! I get to do a giveaway for a follower! You get to win a cooler full of WHOLLY GUACAMOLE! products too! How Wholly awesome is that? It's Wholly Guacamole Awesome.

I'm one of those people that absolutely loves avocados. Sometimes it's impossible to find the perfect ripe ready to eat one. You have to check ripeness by firmness, if it yields when you gently press in then its ready, but if it doesn't you still have a few days to go. If the Avocado is "Soft" when you gently put pressure on it and it gives in too easy it will be too ripe and have an overly earthy musk taste to it. Also check by color, but sometimes color can be misleading. It's just a whole lot of unwanted effort looking for the perfect one. I was beyond thrilled that Wholly Guacamole has Already Ripped, ready to eat Chunky Avocados that you don't have to do anything to prepare! Just open, and eat.

I made something that I call Avocado Shrimp Slaw. It's just a Slaw Mix with Cabbage, and carrots, You add the Avocado, and some shrimp, I like a small amount of mayo in it too. Cut up a few sweet cherry tomatos, and you are done. It's fast, easy, and so perfect for these hot summer days that no one wants to cook.

I also tried just tortilla scoops with the Roasted Tomato salsa, and a little bit of the Red Pepper & Mango ontop. I loved the contrast between the sweet mango, and then the heat of the roasted tomato. Both were chunky, and that does make great salsa. I don't like my salsas watery, and trust me that these ones are not.

Something that is also really good to try is using the Avocado Verde ontop of Grilled Burritos. I tried this last week, and was blown away at how delicious the Avocado Verde is. Think of crisp green tomatoes, and avocado that melts in your mouth as you bite down into that grilled burrito. Mmm, yeah. There are lots of yummy recipes on the Wholly Guacamole Website.

Onto the Giveaway!
Sorry, but this is for US Residents only. :Sad face:

EVOL's Get Your Grill On Review!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I was asked to grill frozen burritos. I am always up for a challenge, and so I made this EVOLS Get Your Grill on Summer Promotion into something delicious! Since I was going to grill the burritos, I wanted something else on the grill too. I placed the Burritos in the fridge the day before so they would thaw out before grilling. Evol has info on their Website on Ways To Cook their foods, just to give you an idea that you don't have to eat the same thing, the same way, all the time.

I boiled a few ears of corn on the stove, just so when I grilled it later it would be all the way done.

I prepped Green Peppers, Orange Peppers, Onions, Sweet Cherry Tomatoes, Pineapples, and cherries.

For the Kabobs I used Metal Skewers since they are easy to wash, and no trash to throw away. I just had fun with placing what/where ever on the Kabob, I loved all the different bright colors.

When it was time to grill I used my Indoor Electric Grill. It had been storming, and really high winds, There are still homes here in Columbus that are without power. I was blessed that my power was still on, and I could grill inside. Indoor grilling happens. I love my Electric Grill. It's more like a real grill, than a press. You still get that grilled/smoked flavor.

For the Evol Burritos, Kabobs, and corn I brushed a thin coat of Safflower oil, Since everything was prepped, and the corn was already 2/3's done I placed all the food on the grill at the same time.

I was extremely pleased with the end results on grilling the burritos. My husband couldn't take the smell much longer, I thought he was just going to attack it, and eat it all before I could snap pictures.

I also added some guacamole verde. The burritos I grilled were, Cilantro Lime Chicken, Shredded Beef, Bean Rice & Cheese, and Chicken Bean & Rice. I love that Evol is All natural. There are also burritos, wraps, and flat breads. I would love to try the flat breads. The burritos were delicious tho I am not really a burrito person. Evol's were tasty, but I like more vegetables in mine when I prepare them myself with black beans. Now a flat bread? That's my love.

I cut the burritos in half and put a different half on each plate (For my husband, and I) so I could try one of each. And, I loved them all, The Cilantro Lime was my favorite, it had a Lime kick to it. They were all full and, very filling. The shredded beef was my 2nd favorite.

You can find Evol on Facebook, Twitter, and their own Blog.

Enter to win an EVOL Prize Pack!!! Including, Free Product Coupons, and EVOL Swag.

My Easy Sidewalk Garden.

My easy sidewalk garden. To do this you just need a small area between the sidewalk, and wherever, I planted just cherry tomatoes, pablano peppers, mint, and strawberries. It was really easy, and fun.

For the soil, I used a combination of veggie dirt mix, and sand I bought, and mixed into the dirt there. Sometimes just a little soil TLC is needed for the roots, and healthy plants.

The rest is easy, Let mother nature take over, grow, and water.

KLUTCHClub, Get Ready For Summer Review & Giveaway

The month of Mays Get Ready for Summer KLUTCHclub was sponsored by Bright Pink, a nonprofit organization for preventention and early detection of breast & ovarian cancer. I think that was such a great cause, and really, well worth the subscription price to be a supporter of Bright Pink.

This is for my ladies out there, Here are Five Easy Steps To Do A Self Breast Exam. Prevention really is key, and we do need to be healthy in all aspects of life. Just because you think you're fine doesnt mean you are, you should still get yearly exams.

There was "More Than $100 of Products To Get You Ready!" in this months box.

First thing I tried when I opened the box was the ONE Coconut Water. Coconut water is full of electrolytes, and vitamins. I didn't like the coconut water warm, so I put the remaining into the fridge. Once it was cold, it wasn't bad, I could taste the sweetness, warm made it taste bitter.

Then I tried the Think Thin protein bars, The Chocolate Dipped Mixed Nuts Crunch Bar was just amazing, and had 10g of protein, and 4 grams of fiber. The Chunky Peanut Butter Bar had 20 grams of Protein, and 5 grams of fiber. They were a great treat with half the calories of a candy bar. Both bars were full of nuts, and did not taste at all like they were "overly" healthy for you. I would love to try more of the Think Thin bars.

I've been using the Hydroxatone’s Instant Effect 90 Second Wrinkle Reducer for a couple weeks now. My skin feels tighter, and I would like to believe I don't look thirty yet. It is softer, my face is glowing, and all I've been doing is washing, and using the serum.

Also in the kit there were digital $25.00 giftcards to Moving Comfort sports bras (Two of them, One for you, and one to share with a friend), also a YOGA Download for a free class.

The subscription price for a month for Klutch Klub is $18.00, that's not a bad price, considering you get giftcards, downloads, beauty products, and healthy snack alternatives. 10% of what was made went back to BrightPink.org.

Mays box was wonderful, I am also excited to announce I get to do a giveaway for one lucky follower! You can too try KlutchClub.

Only open to US, Residents.
