Nurture My Body Herbal Hand & Body Lotion

Nurture My Body, Herbal Hand & Body Lotion

**Update** 10/13/2012

First off, This is my page.  My Followers.  I appreciate my followers, and I will not let a company try to bully me.

Since the Sponsor thinks no one reads my posts, I'm going to tell you all todays experience.  As of this morning, I was told what a disappointment my review was.  That I did not link back, or use the full size image.  I'd like to tell my fans.  I was not sent a full size bottle, and I will not show that image. I will, however show exactly what was sent to me for review.  I will also not link you to 3 different pages that all go to the same website.  There is one link on this post, that is no follow.  Nurture my body expected to steal my Page Rank, by me linking them, and wondering why his own rank is low? If I was Google I would keep resetting your page rank since you want to demand these back links for traffic off bloggers sites. As per Google Rules.  You should  Google No-Follow. Times have changed.  I also advise you to get in with the times. Do Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.  If you weren't so rude, and belittling maybe people would go to your site.  I have 100's of page hits for this post,  lack of comments are not my fault if they didn't like your product.

There was going to be a giveaway, that was going to be added to my Holiday Gift Guide, but he backed out.  I refused to do, Do follow links, and how "he expected it." when I was never gave a date to do my Review, or Giveaway.  He just assumed, because other bloggers Do-Follow, and were doing the Giveaways with the Reviews.  Not all bloggers are the same. I was going to delete my post, but I'd rather leave it. If I would've known this is how I'd be treated, talked down to I would've been cautious working with this company.  Freedom of PRESS.  Being a blogger does make me part of the Media.  I'm using that freedom right now.

Here's a link you should check out,

Nurture My Body has generously allowed me to sample their Herbal Hand & Body lotion.  The smell is clean, & light with traces of rosemary verbenone and lavender essential oils.  There is cedar atlas for that soothing affect in irritated skin, along with antioxidants. Red Mandarin to balance the skin, and Rosemary Verbenone for circulation.  I have an ORIF in my right leg so this will really help me with that.   I relaxed with mine after a hot bath while the baby slept.

The consistency of the lotion is pretty thick, so it only took a little bit to lotion myself up with.  My legs were extremely smooth, and the lotion absorbed quickly.  All of Nurture My Body Products are paraben free, and Organic.  I believe  body lotions should be more than just it's smell, and this does a lot for a lotion.

Nurture My Body wanted to create products that were chemical free for their daughters, and for everyone else.  I 100% agree that toxins should not be in any beauty products.  There are way too many herbal alternatives out there that actually does positive things,  Nurture My Body is one of those companies.

My overall experience with Nurture My Body is a positive one.  I did like the feel of my skin afterwards, and the scent fades (I'm not big on smells, so this worked out perfect.) The packaging is too adorable,  I had to include the hand made "A toast to you!" card.

  3. Wow!!! How refreshing is it to hear and know that bloggers give REAL opinions of the experience with a company and not an "I love it' just because they received payment or a free product!! I'm a regular reader and I have to say I appreciate the honest opinions you gave of this company and their products! As a consumer who might have been interested in this, I have to say I won't be purchasing anything here. If this business owner treats people that work for him so poorly, how and what must his treatment of customers be? That's a shame. It sounded like such a great product too. Thank you GreenVics!! The honest feedback is really wreally refreshing in a sea of blogs that all sound the same!
And that link you added!! HYSTERICAL!!! This guy maybe should read it and peraps will change they way he interacts with people he hopes to help him promote this line.

    1. I really, really try to find the good in products I review. I guess he wants the copy & paste reviews, with his images. That way all they see is the same info when they do a search. Someone hilarious sent me that link!

  4. I loved your product review and had some interest in the product but I am going to reconsider looking into them further now as I don't think it is good business to talk down to those you work with - sometimes people seem to forget that bloggers don't just sit at their computer and write about garbage in their spare time, but that it is a livelihood and painstakingly long hours of reviews and well thought out opinions on products carefully selected from the many thousands available for review! Somebody else with a wonderful product could have been very appreciative and grateful for that space and time dedicated to their item or line and it is always a shame when interactions do not go the way both sides invision, which is why some guidelines need to be set out from the get-go OR the company has to assume the blogger will use artistic license, time, skill and anything else in their own way, shape and form to suit their best need and interest - and to be fair, I would actually have thought having a spot on your gift guide would have given them a boost as those spots are limited!

Ah well, sometimes professionalism is not in the genes, just in the mind or occasional the pantal region. *sigh*

    1. Thank you! That was beautifully written!! My gift guide for Health/Beauty will just spot light a company I've already worked with in the past. That's working with me again for a 3 Product Giveaway for Natural Face Scrub. You are right-on, the spots are limited. I was just doing two per.

  5. I agree if you don't get a big enough to sample you can't write a good review. and pushing their links does not help them or you. I love honest reviews

  6. Well I read your blog daily and I have no problem with how you review products. I usually trust your opinion since we're pretty like minded. My girl friend won a sample in a give a way and honestly it smelled like bug spray.

  7. That is a real shame. I suggested buying some L'Occitane for roughly the same price. I guarantee you won't be disappointed in the quality! Oh they also don't require any favors or backlinks for giving out samples! You get 2 free samples with every order and you can get a free sample of their hand cream here right now without buying anything.

  8. Hi! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it tough to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast.
I'm thinking about making my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
    Many thanks
